Spotlight Initiative

TWHHI in partnership with Spotlight Initiative which is a United Nations and the European Union initiative to end violence against women and girls.

Under the Spotlight Initiative, TWHHI has conducted empowerment programs for 370 out-of-school girls in Yaba and Ikorodu local government area of Lagos state, empowerment program for graduates of the young mums clinic in Lagos Island and Ajeromi/Ifelodun local government area of Lagos state, a community advocacy program in partnership with Lagos state Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT) and during the Covid19 pandemic we installed locally made handwashing stations in different public hospitals, maternity centres, markets and youth centres across Lagos state.
